Transcon Energy Producing and Processing Ltd is an energy Producing and Processing company, operating in the Upstream and Midstream sectors of the oil and gas industry in Nigeria and hopefully beyond in the near future.

It will also be involved in Renewable Energy through manufacture of solar panels and generation of electricity through biomass and wind.

The company is a member of Transcon Group and subscribes to the group’s aspirations and values.

The Corporate Head office is located in Victoria Island, Lagos State, Lagos, Nigeria with anticipated presence all over the continent of Africa.

It has four divisions:

2.00. OUR BUSINESS ACTIVITIES

 The company has four divisions. 

2.1. OIL AND GAS EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION DIVISION

The company will participate in the next bidding round for a marginal field or invest in existing assets by farming-in. The marginal fields we are interested in are located on land, swamp and shallow waters.

2.2. REFINERY DIVISION

The Company has plans to establish a modular refinery that will refine a maximum of 5,000 barrels of crude oil a day. Adequate land is being secured in Koko, Delta State, for the refinery; crude oil will be brought to the refinery by vessels. This will be done through a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV).

2.3. NATURAL GAS PROCESSING DIVISION

The company will gather gas from oil wells and process same to LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas), CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) and Condensate for local consumption and export. The company intends to do this in collaboration with technical partners. This modular gas processing plant will be located where ever there is associated gas in Nigeria. This will be done through a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV).

2.4.  RENEWABLE ENERGY DIVISION

This division will be involved in Renewable Energy through manufacture of solar panels and generation of electricity from biodegradable domestic waste and wind.

The Electricity generated will be sold its sister company for onward sale to distribution companies for usage by consumers. The plant is to be sited in Lagos State and is expected to generate about 30 megawatts of electricity daily.

Other streams of income from biomass electricity generation process include the revenue from domestic waste, sale of excess gas and sale of the bye-product; fertilizer.   

2.5. CORPORATE SERVICES DIVISION:

This division includes Finance and Accounts; Human Resource/Administration; Legal; Planning/Strategy; Health, Safety and Environment; Business development and Procurement departments. All purchases of petroleum products and spares are made through the procurement unit.
